Property Administrator

GIL Property Management and Sales Ltd are seeking a Property Administrator to join our brokerage.  This position requires a considerable level of multi-tasking and very strong organizational skills.  In this role there is a significant amount of communication with a variety of personalities; patience and professionalism must be a priority. As part of a team, you will be able to work cooperatively with others and understand how each role interacts and impacts others and work accordingly.  Willingness to take personal initiative and work independently when needed is a must. Only those with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, client-centred environment will be considered.  

Essential Duties:

Conduct move-out appointments with tenants.  
Conduct Mid-term inspections at properties.
Receive, manage, and conduct a final review of all maintenance requests from tenants and owners.
Demonstrated knowledge of property maintenance.
Professionally handle tenant-related issues calmly and patiently. 
Communicate with property owners regarding the status of their property.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Must have a computer skill set.

Other Requirements:

Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
Possess excellent verbal and written communications.
Valid license, own reliable vehicle, and clean driver’s abstract
Must be willing to obtain a current criminal record check.
Must be willing to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
As a strong understanding of The Alberta Residential Tenancy Act
Handle confidential information accordingly to laws and regulations.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, office equipment and internet applications. Experience with Propertyware is considered a strong asset.
Possess a positive and professional demeanour in a fast-paced and sometimes a high-pressure environment.
